Hardy Shrub Roses for

At BalsamPath Roses we sell hardy, low
maintenance shrub roses.
We emphasize winter hardiness, fragrance,
variety
of colors, and variety of sizes in our roses.
Located in northwest Wisconsin,
we grow and sell shrub roses
proven to be hardy in Zones
2, and
3, and those
shown
to be very hardy in Zone 4.
We continue to look for and
test new roses for hardiness.
If they do well we will grow
them on for sale.
We may also ask you, our customers, to grow our
test roses
and give us your feedback as to how they grew in your
surroundings.
We will use this information to help choose our next rose
selections.

A word about descriptions, care, and prices...
All photos were taken at BalsamPath Roses unless
indicated.
Even in the most severe winters,
A rose is hardy if it doesn't lose a
cane.
A rose is hardy if it dies back to the snow line.
A
rose is hardy even if it dies back to the crown
and comes
back true in the summer.
Give your rose enough time to show it is
hardy.
Proper growing conditions are essential for disease resistance
and
maximum growth.
Just as a reminder, though......disease resistance does not mean disease
proof.
